Frequently Asked Questions

Mobile & Nature-based Counselling Sessions

  • Instead of you commuting to an office, I bring the session to you. We meet at your home or a pre-selected local trail in Saanich, Sidney, or Victoria to remove the invisible costs of travel and public recovery time . For more information on the places we could meet, please visit my location page.

The Logistics of Your Session

Mobile Counselling Process

  • We begin with a free 15-minute consultation to ensure we are a good fit. Once we book, our first full session focuses on your safety plan and identifying the environments (home, nature, or online) where you feel most empowered to do this work.

  • I will call or text you at our scheduled time to ensure we are meeting at the exact right spot. I prioritize locations with easy parking and clear meeting landmarks to reduce any arrival anxiety"

  • Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and safe for the weather that day. There is no right way to dress for therapy; if we are walking, comfortable shoes are recommended, but if we are sitting, a warm layer is often helpful.

  • Yes. Because we meet in your chosen environment, you have the autonomy to include supports that help you feel safe and regulated.

  • We move at your pace. I provide the structure and gentle accountability to help you restore order to your space, whether that means clearing an estate, organizing after a breakup, or resetting your home after a period of depression.

  • Yes. We can use video sessions for body doubling, where I remain present while you complete a task, or for individualized life skills training and goal-setting.
